Client services are covered by your agreement
If you are a client, the services we provide you are governed by your signed proposal, engagement letter or service agreement. If that agreement conflicts with these terms, the agreement wins.
Using the site
You may use the site to learn about our services, read our content and get in touch with us. You agree not to:
- use the site for anything unlawful or fraudulent,
- try to get unauthorized access to the site, its systems or other people's data,

Our content
The articles, guides, templates, courses, designs and other material on the site belong to The Bottom Line or its licensors and are protected by copyright and other laws. You may read, download and print them for your own firm's internal use. You may not resell, republish or redistribute them, or present them as your own, without our written permission. Quoting a short excerpt with a link back to the source is fine.

Information, not advice
Our content is general information about marketing and sales for accounting firms. It is not legal, tax, financial or professional advice for your specific situation. Results we describe, including client case studies and revenue figures, are examples. They are not a promise of what you will achieve, which depends on your market, offer, budget and execution.
Connecting your advertising accounts
Our clients can authorize our software to access their Google Ads, Meta or LinkedIn advertising accounts so we can manage campaigns and report on results. If you grant that access, you confirm that:
- you are authorized to grant it on behalf of the business that owns the account, and
- you will also follow the terms of the advertising platform.
We will use that access only to provide the services you have engaged us for. How we handle the data is described in our Privacy Policy. You can revoke access at any time from the platform's settings, and you can ask us to delete the data we hold by emailing admin@thebottomline.company.
What you send us
When you submit a form or send us a message, you confirm that the information is accurate and yours to share. We handle it as described in our Privacy Policy. If you send us ideas or feedback, we may use them without any obligation to you.
Links to other sites
The site links to websites and tools run by others. We do not control them and are not responsible for their content or practices.
No warranty
We work to keep the site accurate and available, but we provide it "as is" and "as available". To the extent the law allows, we make no warranties about the site or its content, express or implied, including about accuracy, availability, or fitness for a particular purpose.
Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, The Bottom Line is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for lost profits, revenue or data, arising from your use of the site or its free content. Our total liability for any claim related to the site is limited to CAD $100. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including liability for bodily or moral injury, or for intentional or gross fault.
